Manchester United defender, Luke Shaw has predicted a ‘very tough’ game when his side faces Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on February 26 at Wembley.
Shaw said this after Man United’s Carabao Cup semi-final second-leg 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
Man United booked their place in the Carabao Cup final after winning Forest 5-0 on aggregate, while Newcastle defeated Southampton 3-1 on aggregate.
“It is very special,” the England international told Sky Sports after Man United defeated Forest.
“I think it shows where we are at the moment. It is a final which we look forward to, but there are a few big games before we go there.
“We have got a big one against Newcastle [United]. They are an extremely good team and it is going to be a very tough game, but it is a big moment for where we want to go.”
