Seven suspected Internet fraudsters arrested in Benue

The Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters.

The anti- graft agency made this known in a statement on Thursday.

The Commission said the suspects were arrested in their hideout at Aliade, in the Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State.

Items recovered from them include eight phones, three iPads, two internet routers and one international passport.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
