The Senate on Tuesday confirmed all nominees for the governing boards of the South East Development Commission (SEDC) and the North West Development Commission (NWDC).
The confirmation, which included 34 nominees, took place during resumption of plenary presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Macdonalds Michael Uyi was confirmed alongside others before his nomination to the North West Development Commission is the President General, Global Peace Movement International, UK.
This confirmation process followed a revised list of nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu four weeks ago.
The nominees underwent a screening process by the Senate’s ad-hoc Committee.
