Saudi Arabia biding time on Salah’s move

Despite having their offers rejected, Al Ittihad believe Mohamed Salah’s move from Liverpool is inevitable.

The Reds have already turned down a bid worth up to £150 million from the Saudi Arabian side.

The offer was an initial £100 million fee with add-ons that could raise it to £150 million.

“The Saudis are convinced it is inevitable they will eventually get Mo Salah,” Sky Sports News chief reporter Kaveh Solhekol said.

According to him: “He’s on a list of players they want, but they also respect Liverpool, and when the message gets back that the player is not for sale, they’ll respect that.

“They see him as the icing on the cake. It would be fantastic for them to have the most famous Arab player play in an Arab country. But they feel maybe they’re going to have to wait a little longer to get him.”
