Ronaldo won’t forgive Gary Neville, their relationship is over – Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo’s relationship with ex-Manchester United team-mate Gary Neville is over, after the striker’s on-air snub prior to kick-off against West Ham on Sunday.

Ferdinand played with both men during his 12-year stint at Old Trafford.

The latest incident involving his old team-mates saw Ronaldo ignore Neville, who was covering United’s 1-0 home win over West Ham.

Ronaldo shook hands with Louis Saha and Jamie Redknapp, before jogging away from a nervous-looking Neville.

The 37-year-old was reportedly annoyed by Neville’s recent remarks suggesting United is now a better side without him starting.

Speaking on his Vibe with Five YouTube channel, Ferdinand admitted he would be surprised to see Ronaldo forgive the Sky Sports pundit.

“I don’t think Cristiano is taking that call (if Neville calls him). Knowing Cristiano it’s gone isn’t it.

“You’ve said what you said and believe what you believe,” he said.
