Former Wales international Robbie Savage has predicted Manchester City to beat Manchester United 3-0 when both teams clash in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Man City currently sit in the second position on the Premier League table with 59 points from 37 games.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are sixth with 44 points from the same number of games.

In his column for the Planet Sport, Savage said:

“It is the Manchester derby, City against United. City are looking to equal their record of 55 consecutive home games where they have scored a goal.

“They are currently on 54 but it will be 55 against United.”

He added, “I just think Manchester City are too strong, too good against probably a weakened United side… with injuries especially in that back line. I’m going to go with Manchester City 3, Manchester United 0.”
