Rivers United assistant coach, Fatai Osho has affirmed the team’s determination to compete on all fronts this season.
The Port Harcourt side won the NPFL title for the first time last season.
The holders currently occupy second position on the Group B log and have also enjoyed a successful campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Stanley Eguma’s side zoomed into the quarter-finals of the competition after battling to a 2-2 draw against Congolese outfit, Diable Noirs last Sunday.
The Pride of Rivers will also compete in the Federation Cup.
“We are determined to win the Nigeria Premier Football League back to back,” Osho told newsmen.
“We are progressing well in three competitions and I’m confident we will. come out successful.”
Rivers United will take on Rangers in a rescheduled NPFL matchday eight encounter on Wednesday (today) in Port Harcourt.
