The House Committee on Hydrological Services and Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPPADEC) has reiterated its commitment to work towards improving power supply in the country
The Chairman of the Committee, Pascal Agbodike, made the pledge during a meeting on Tuesday in Abuja.
He promised that the committee would exercise effective oversight over all companies under its supervision to improve the country’s power generation and delivery.
The lawmaker said the step would help manufacturing and other industries that required power to run properly in the country.
He stated that the group would focus on HYPPADEC and other hydrological service facilities throughout the country.
‘The HYPPADEC states are Niger, Plateau, Kogi, Kwara, Kaduna, Kebbi, Benue, Taraba, Gombe, and Nasarawa.
