Protect your dignity while serving your fatherland – Ogun NNPP tells policemen

The gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Ogun State in the last general elections, Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has called on officers of the Nigeria Police Force to protect their dignity while serving their fatherland.

Oguntoyinbo, during a send-forth ceremony for the former Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ibafo, CSP Olusoji Alabi at the weekend, appealed to officers to be more diligent in their service.

He enjoined young police officers in the country to emulate the ways and deeds of the former DPO, stressing that this will give them the opportunity to have a successful careers.

Oguntoyinbo asked the officers to continually exemplify good conduct, integrity, bravery and gallantry in the discharge of their policing responsibilities.

He described the retired police officer as an intelligent officer with a passion for policing affairs.

“I call on officers of the Nigeria Police Force to be more diligent and protect their dignity in their services to the nation.

“I admonish young Police officers in the country to emulate the ways and deeds of the former Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ibafo, Ogun State, CSP Olusoji Alabi to enable them to have successful careers in the Police Force.

“Retirement is one of those major milestones in one’s life which mark the end of one chapter and the start of another”.
