‎LAGOS, Nigeria – Ahead of its much-anticipated October 1 launch, Promise Land has announced the commencement of registration for drivers interested in participating in the ProTaxi empowerment programme, which is expected to provide opportunities for 1,000 drivers.

‎The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Promise Land, Ambassador Dr. Lawrence Oloche Emmanuel, who made this known, said the initiative is designed to combine economic empowerment with a new approach to urban transportation in Nigeria.

‎According to Emmanuel, ProTaxi will deploy green-energy, environmentally friendly vehicles, with a strong focus on affordability, cost-effectiveness, safety and convenience for both drivers and passengers.

‎He explained that the choice of October 1 for the official launch is significant, as the company seeks to introduce a proudly Nigerian mobility platform capable of creating jobs, supporting households and contributing to the country’s transition towards cleaner transportation.

‎“ProTaxi is about empowerment, innovation and providing Nigerians with a cost-effective and environmentally friendly transportation alternative. Through this initiative, we are creating opportunities for 1,000 drivers and, by extension, supporting 1,000 households,” Emmanuel said.

‎Promise Land has also released a registration link for prospective drivers, allowing interested Nigerians to register ahead of the October 1 rollout.
