President Tinubu Signs Bill Establishing Federal University in Ogoni

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed into law the bill establishing the Federal University of Environment and Technology, Ogoni.

The signing of the bill took place on Monday at the State House, with President Tinubu flanked by Senator Mpigi Barinada, the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the Minister of Education, and other top government officials.

The presidency confirmed the development in a statement via its social media account on the X platform.

The statement described the signing of the bill as a promise kept by President Tinubu, who has been committed to addressing the environmental and educational needs of the Ogoni people.
