President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Arab-Islamic Summit

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending the joint Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.“

The presidential plane touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, where he was received by top government officials led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila.

At the summit, President Tinubu joined other Heads of State and Government from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the League of Arab States to discuss the current situation in the Middle East. In his address, President Tinubu urged for an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza, highlighting the devastating impact the prolonged conflict has caused.

He also declared Nigeria’s support for a two-state solution to the crisis.

Following the summit, President Tinubu met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, although details of their discussion have not been disclosed.
