Potter holds one-on-one talks with senior Chelsea stars, makes demand

New Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, has already spoken to a number of the club’s senior players and urged them to help unite the dressing room.

This was disclosed by respected journalist, Ben Jacobs, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday.

Recall that Potter signed a five-year contract with Chelsea this week after the west London club agreed to pay Brighton around £20million in compensation to replace Thomas Tuchel following his sacking.

Potter’s first game in charge of Chelsea had been due to be against Fulham on Saturday, but that was postponed due to the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“Graham Potter has already held a series of one-on-one talks with senior Chelsea players,” Jacobs tweeted.

“He’s stressed the importance of leadership and dressing room unity and spoke of his open door policy. He’s been keen to listen and ensure he quickly understands the culture of the club.”
