Popular CAC prophet, Ojo Olowere is dead

A renowned evangelist and founder of the Ibadan-based Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, Oke-Agbara, Asi Bodija, prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, popularly called Baba Olowere, is dead.

Olowere died at his Asi residence in Ibadan on Wednesday.

Popular Nigerian comedian and on-air personality, Bayegun Oluwatoyin, known as Woli Arole, announced the cleric’s death in a post on his Facebook page.

Sharing the video of his last visit to the prophet, Woli Arole said: “This was in April this year, when Baba blessed us at #friendsfellowship. God told me that day to ‘Reach out to Baba Olowere to bless me and my fold’.

“Thank God I listened. Thank God I understood TIMES and SEASONS, just like Elisha that didn’t leave Elijah until his ascension. I am very excited that I touched the helms of Baba Olowere’s garment not just from afar but close range.

“Sleep well God’s TREASURE. We love you so much, but God loves you more. Rest on PATRIARCH.”

The details of his transition are still scanty as of the time of filing this report.
