Police commence operation to flush out criminals from Jigawa

The Jigawa State Police Command has embarked on rigorous raids of criminal hideouts and black spots across the state.

This was stated in a press statement signed by the spokesman of the command, ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam issued to Newsmen.

He said the operation was aimed at flushing criminals out of the state.

According to him, the CP directed all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers to liaise with operatives from the State Intelligence Bureau (SIB) before conducting any raid, so that in the end, suspects must be arrested and exhibits are recovered.

He explained that the operation should be twice a week unless there’s an official assignment or other eventualities.

The Commissioner however solicited the support and cooperation of the people of the state for the success of the operation.
