Mauricio Pochettino would be joined by his four close confidants if he gets the job at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Times, Pochettino would be going to Stamford with his assistant and head of conditioning Jesus Perez, first-team coach Miguel D’Agostino, goalkeeper coach, Toni Jimenez and his son, Sebastiano, a sports scientist.

Perez, D’Agostino and Jimenez have been at the side of the Argentine for most of his managerial career.

They were with him at Southampton and Tottenham and followed him to Paris Saint-Germain in 2021.

The Argentine has emerged as favourite to become the new boss at Chelsea and is said to be in advanced talks with the club’s owners.

His deal to take over from Frank Lampard could be completed as early as this week

The 51-year-old has been without a job since his sack by PSG last year.
