Plateau killings: “Some people want to sabotage your re-election” – Ex-Gov Jang tells Tinubu

‎A former governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang has alleged that some individuals are plotting to sabotage the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.


‎Jang made the allegation during the president’s visit to Jos, Plateau State capital city on Thursday, April 2.


‎The president was in Jos to commiserate with families of the victims of the recent bandit attacks and killings in the Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area.


‎Speaking directly to the president, Jang said those plotting his failure at the forthcoming election will fail.


‎“Your Excellency, I think some people want to sabotage these coming elections, and by the grace of God we will not allow them,” Jang said.


‎According to the former governor, the president is currently “doing a fantastic job”, and will surely be re-elected for his second term.


‎“Some people think they want to spoil it at this last tail end of the first tenure. By the grace of God, you’ll come back to accomplish the work.


‎“I look forward, Your Excellency, to coming to Abuja so that we really have a heart-to-heart talk. God bless you, and I wish you a safe journey and a very happy Easter,” he added.
