“As concern citizens of Nigeria living in the diaspora, we are raising concern over the possibility of resumption of militancy in the Niger Delta region which will not do any good to Nigeria at this point in time.

“The question from patriotic citizen of Nigeria at home and abroad is on what grounds does the NNPCL under Mele Kyari wants to award pipeline surveillance contract to a particular ethnic group sidelining indigenous people who’s youths, women and men are fully engaged.

“The two major tribes in question are the Ijaws and Itsekiris who have lived in peace for a long time now. We describe Mele’s action as anti government and will only bring bad blood to the administration of president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Mele should show the world any documents to show that the contracts of the pipeline protection was done well or not done well. He should also explain to the world the reason for increasing the sum of the contract from $1.1 million to $7.9 million in a bad economy, a time Nigerians are in dare need of financial bailout. “.

“We will not accept any form of efforts to create disharmony among any state of the Niger Delta or states of Nigeria under any pretend for selfish reasons”.

Uyi call on Nigerians to support the present administration for a better country that will be better for all it’s citizens.
