The Federal Government has commenced the process of evacuating Nigerian students stranded in Sudan

At least 420 people have been killed and over 3,700 injured following the deadly fight raging between forces loyal to two rival military generals in the country.

The Nigerian government had released the sum of N150m to hire at least 40 buses that would convey the stranded Nigerian students from war-torn Sudan through Cairo and Egypt.

It was gathered that some of the buses arrived on Wednesday morning as the students prepare for evacuation back to Nigeria.
