PHOTO STORY: SYNERGIZING FOR INCREASED PORT SECURITY

Mohammed Bello Koko, Managing Director Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) today Tuesday 13th June 2023 received the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Western Naval Command Rear Admiral JD Akpan and Fleet Commander West, Rear Admiral AO Olodude at the NPA Headquarters Marina.
The meeting focused on generating fresh ideas to sustain the gains the Lagos Pilotage District has reaped from the nationwide collaborative arrangements between the Authority and the Nigerian Navy.

It will be recalled that in addition to the acquisition and deployment of Security Patrol Boats, the Authority had deployed its partnership with the Navy to improve channel security in the eastern ports which has resulted in increased cargo traffic in Onne, Calabar and Warri Ports.
