Phone-tapping: ICPC releases details of items recovered from El-Rufai’s house

‎The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, has disclosed a range of documents, electronic devices and other items allegedly recovered from the Abuja residence of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

‎The agency disclosed this in its filings submitted at the FCT High Court in Abuja to counter a N1 billion fundalmental rights enforcement suit filed against ICPC and others by Mr El-Rufai.

‎According to the anti-graft agency, it recovered nine flash drives, one memory card, and seven hard drives


‎Also, the Commission retrieved a Remarkable tablet along with its chargers.

‎The commission further disclosed that folders containing flight tickets were found stored across various digital devices.

‎The ICPC stated that all recovered items were properly documented, sealed, and prepared for forensic analysis as part of an ongoing investigation.

‎“Multiple laptops among the items taken, including Apple MacBook Pro and Elumac Book Pro models. Mobile phones were also part of the recovery.


‎“Other devices include Blackberry, Nokia N95, Toshiba, Samsung IDEOS, Google IDEOS, and 18 other mobile devices,” it said.
