Peter Obi denies releasing manifesto ahead of 2023 Election

The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has denied releasing his manifesto.

Obi urged the general public to disregard the manifesto circulating online, stressing that it was a drafted copy under review.

In a tweet, the LP presidential candidate said he would personally release his manifesto.

He wrote: “I have not formally released our Manifesto. I will do so personally. It seems an earlier draft copy under review has made its way into the public space. Until I release the approved and final draft, please disregard what is being circulated. -PO”

Meanwhile, Obi’s counterpart from the APC, Bola Tinubu, has released his manifesto tagged “Renewed Hope 2023, Action Plan for a Better Nigeria.”

In the manifesto launched at the presidential Villa, Tinubu vowed to tackle insecurity by establishing a highly trained and disciplined anti-terrorist battalions.
