PDP’s Muhammad-Jallo wins Igabi Federal Constituency in Kaduna

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hussain Muhammad-Jallo, on Monday, emerged winner for Igabi Federal Constituency, Kaduna state.

Muhammad-Jallo was declared winner by INEC Returning Officer, Professor Umaru Musa, in Turunku, Igabi.

He garnered 46,189 votes to beat Ibrahim Zayyad of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who got 41,331.

However, NNPP candidate, Shuaibu Abubakar polled 5,394 votes, while Labour Party’s Yahya Salisu scored 3,726 votes.

Musa said, “Jallo Hussaini Muhammad of PDP, having satisfied the requirements of the law, is hereby declared winner and is returned elected.”
