A cheering crowd welcomed the Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, back to the state after the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Tambuwal stepped down on Saturday and urged his supporters to vote for Atiku Abubakar, who eventually emerged the party’s presidential candidate.
