PDP Kaduna guber candidate Isa Ashiru inaugurates support group, canvasses for unity

The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State for the 2023 election, Isa Ashiru, has assured that deliberate efforts will be made by his government to embrace all citizens of the state and work together for its total emancipation if elected.

He also assured that concerted efforts would be made by his government to make the state a befitting place to live in by bringing all together for the unity and development of the state.

Speaking on Tuesday in Kaduna while inaugurating a support group, “Tafiyar Amana 2023” for the success of PDP elections in the state, the gubernatorial candidate lamented that politics has been made to look dirty.

According to him: “With the right people in active politics, the right thing will be done and the issue of any grudge against anyone will not arise. The entire people of the state will unite in order to pursue what is ahead of them as a family.”

He thanked the convener of the support group, Mrs Esther Abba, for the initiative and the desire to ensure the success of the party in next year’s elections and called on party members in the state to ensure no stone is left unturned till the party takes over the leadership of the state.

Earlier, the PDP state chairman, Felix Hassan Hyat, noted that the time has come for Nigerians to be sincere to liberate the country by voting the PDP back to power in all levels of elective positions for the restoration of the lost glory of the country.

Rear Admiral Luka Jatau Kagoma (rtd), in his remark, stated that with the right people in active politics, Nigeria would grow and every section of the country will feel the impact of the dividends of democracy.

Also, the convener, Mrs Esther Abba, explained that she decided to assemble stakeholders from Southern Kaduna towards mobilising eligible voters for the success of the party in all elections in the state in 2023.
