PDP candidate, Amuzu reveals mistake Nigerians must never repeat

The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, Ogun State, Toyin Amuzu has revealed the mistake Nigerians should avoid as the nation approaches the 2023 general elections.

Amuzu warned Nigerians not to repeat the mistake made in 2015 when they fell for the propaganda of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, many Nigerians fell for the ‘Change mantra’ of the APC, which promised to change the nation for the better.

However, he regretted that the nation under the APC witnessed more problems and challenges, with no clue for solutions.

Amuzu urged the electorate not to repeat the same mistake by voting the APC again in the 2023 elections.

He said that the ruling party lacked the willpower to create solutions to the numerous challenges bedeviling Nigeria, even with their current campaign promises.

He said, “the time for genuine change has come as the PDP with its years of experience in governance is ready to reset the nation’s economy, work on insecurity, develop infrastructure, improve the general wellbeing of the people and restore the various public systems, which are now being destroyed.”

Amuzu decried that the Federal Government took over Olokuta lands for railway project in Abeokuta without compensating them with basic amenities, saying no responsible government would do that.

“As for us in the PDP, we are committed to the good people of Ogun State and we will continue to support the people and the communities to grow.”
