Pat Nevin tells Frank Lampard two Chelsea players to sign this summer

Frank Lampard has been told to sign two Chelsea players on loan following the Toffees’ lack of activities in the transfer market.

Lampard had last week warned that the club could face relegation again if they fail to bring in some new faces this summer.

Everton was nearly relegated to the Championship last season but Lampard fought hard to ensure they stayed up, finishing 16th in the league table.

Despite this, Everton has endured an underwhelming transfer window to date, bringing in only James Tarkowski from Burnley and allowing their main man, Richarlison to join Tottenham.

And former Everton and Chelsea winger Pat Nevin wants the Toffees to at least sign some players on loan to help the club next season.

Nevin said Lampard should use his Stamford Bridge connections to sign Conor Gallagher and Billy Gilmour on temporary deals.

“I think Everton should use the loan market,” Nevin told BonusCodeBets.

“They should ask Frank to speak to some of his old colleagues at Chelsea and see if there are any young players left to bring in.

“They should try to sign Billy Gilmour and Connor Gallagher if they are available. They would make a massive difference to Everton, but they also need a goalscorer.”
