The people of Ayere community in Kofi State have said that their son
Hon Olusola kilani Olumoh, member representing Ijumu Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly has never been associated with terrorism either at home or anywhere else.

Recalled that Hon Olusola kilani Olumoh was suspended by Kogi State House of Assembly over an alleged involvement in terrorist activities by security report.

The National President of Ayere Community Development Association, (ACDA) Chief M. O. Otitoju in a press statement issued on Thursday and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, on Friday, said “We affirm that Ayere community has never been linked to any act of terror at any point in her long history”.

“We maintain that our children are brought up in the fear of God and as law abiding citizens. Consequently, no son or daughter of Ayere has ever been associated with terrorism at home or anywhere else

“We know that Hon Olusola Kilani Olumoh, born and bred in Ayere, has been a complete gentleman all his life, completely devoid of any attribute or inclination toward violence or disorderly conduct;

“We hold of a certainty that as a serious minded member of the Kogi State Legislature, Hon Olusola Kilani Olumoh has contributed tirelessly to the growth of legislative business in the House by sponsoring several bills.

“We believe Hon Olusola Kilani Olumoh has a lot more to offer the Government and good people of Kogi State by way of diligent service.

The association therefore noted that it was in the light of the foregoing that they strongly condemn and reject the attempt by Hon Olusola Kilani Olumoh’s foes to tarnish his image by vilifying him with a view to denting his exemplary political career.

“We use this medium to earnestly appeal to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello to temper justice with mercy and have a fatherly compassion on Hon Olusola Kilani Olumoh like is characteristic of the Governor.

“We pray that the Almighty Allah whom you serve day and night, particularly during this month of Ramadan, will crown your efforts with good success and grant your heart desires.
