Former Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has condemned the Friday attack on his former Chief of Staff, Terwase Orbunde and the abduction of his wife and house help by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

Ortom, in a statement by his former Chief Press Secretary and Adviser on media, Terver Akase earlier on Saturday visited Orbunde in the hospital where he is receiving treatment.

“Governor Ortom who described the attack as shocking and unfortunate, urged the assailants to free the kidnap victims unconditionally,” Akase said.

The former Governor equally appealed to security agencies to ensure that Orbunde’s kidnapped wife and his domestic staff regain their freedom unhurt.
