Orban up for Goal of the Week award

KAA Gent forward Gift Orban has been nominated for UEFA Europa Conference League Goal of the Week award.

Orban was nominated for his cool finish in Gent’s 4-1 victory against Ukrainian side, Zorya at the Gent Arena on Thursday night.

The Nigeria international scored the Buffalos’ third goal in the 55th minute after he was teed up by Noah Fadiga.

It was his fifth goal in four outings in the competition this season.

Orban is currently the leading scorer in the UEFA Europa Conference League this term.

The winner of the award will be decided by fans’ votes.
