Oliver Kahn sacked as Bayern Munich CEO, replacement revealed

Oliver Kahn was dismissed as FC Bayern Munich CEO immediately after the Bavarians won the Bundesliga title on Saturday.

Jan-Christian Dreesen will now take over from Kahn as Bayern Munich’s new CEO.

This was disclosed by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his Twitter handle immediately after Bayern Munich lifted the Bundesliga title ahead of Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening.

Recall that Bayern Munich were crowned Bundesliga Champions on Saturday after beating Koln 2-1 on the final day of the season as Dortmund drew 2-2 with Mainz.

“Oliver Kahn has been dismissed as FC Bayern CEO right after winning the title. Dreesen will be the new club’s CEO,” Romano tweeted.

“Kahn was not in attendance today for Köln-Bayern final, title game.”
