Ohanaeze election naked robbery, won’t go unpunished – Contestant

A chieftain of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Mazi Chuks Ibegbu has rejected the outcome of Ohanaeze Ndigbo election held in Enugu on Friday.

Ibegbu, who was a Deputy President General candidate, described the exercise as an imposition and naked robbery.

News reports that before the election, the organisers announced the suspension of the Ohanaeze constitution to pave the way for a consensus arrangement.

A list said to have been approved by the governors was then announced as the new Ohanaeze executive members.
