Ododo/Joel 2023: Ajaokuta APC Stakeholders chart the Way forward

A critical stakeholders meeting of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ajaokuta LGA was held in the early hours of yesterday, Sunday, September 3rd, 2023 to discuss salient issues ahead of the forthcoming Kogi State governorship election.

Briefing the participants at the all important stakeholders meeting, the APC leader of Ajaokuta LGA, Representative Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency at the 10th National Assembly, noted that the meeting is a child of necessity owing to the fact that Kogi guber election is close.

He said it has become pertinent to kickstart serious campaign activities by falling back to the various wards and commence a door to door campaign to reach out to the people in all the nook and cranny of the LGA.

According to Representative SEA, the only political Agenda in Ajaokuta LGA today is to vote Ododo/Joel of APC come November 11.

Representative SEA who charged everyone present at the meeting also used the medium, once again, to appreciate the entire people of Ajaokuta Federal constituency for the unprecedented show of love for him and the APC, saying the mandate given to him to serve the people at the National Assembly through the ballot during the last general elections would not be taken for granted.

He further stressed that his tenure at the House of Representatives will stand the test of time as he has promised to ‘do it differently’ from business as usual.

In his words, “As I speak, I’ve set up Ajaokuta Federal Constituency NEEDS ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE for the people to tell me what they want to be done for them and the committee, in a few days from now will submit it’s report which will serve as guide and a roadmap towards making Ajaokuta greater than ever.

Other Ajaokuta APC leaders at the all important meeting include Kogi State commissioner for Works and Housing, Hon. Samson Bako; the chairman of Ajaokuta LGC, Hon. Mustapha Akaaba; the Ajaokuta House of Assembly Member, Hon. Jibril Abu; Vice Chairman, Ajaokuta LGC, Hon. Salamatu Magdaline; the Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello and the focal person in charge of Job Creation and SMEs, Hon. Prince Abdulkareem Onyekehi; the SSA to the governor in charge of Women and Children, office of the First Lady, Hon. Sandra Mussa MIMI.

Others are, the SSA Political to Governor in charge of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Lamidi Adabara Yusuf; Ajaokuta APC Chairman, Mall. Yakubu Yusuf, former Ajaokuta APC Chairman, Mall. Oseni Balogun, members of the state APC executive members from Ajaokuta LGA and LG APC exco members.

Other participants at the critical stakeholders meeting include former LGC vice chairmen, former State appointees, former Honourable Councilors and Honourable Supervisory Councilors, Ward APC chairmen, youth leaders and women leaders.
