NPFL: IMC, club owners parley on Wednesday

The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has invited the 20 clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, to an interactive meeting.

The meeting, according to the circular signed by IMC’s head of operations, Davidson Owumi, will hold at the Sandralia Hotel, Abuja on Wednesday, December 21.

The circular noted that the meeting is being convened to perfect earlier interactions with the clubs on the new season’s roadmap.

It remains to be seen if the 2022/23 season will kick off on December 28 as earlier agreed by the two bodies.

The new campaign will be run in an abridged format and is expected to end in May 2023.

Rivers United won the title last season fighting off a stiff challenge from Plateau United.
