Nottingham Forest boss thumbs up Aina on impressive debut

Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper was satisfied with Ola Aina’s performance in his maiden appearance for the club.

Aina joined the Reds on a free transfer last month.

The 26-year-old made his debut for the Tricky Trees in the friendly defeat to Dutch club, PSV Eindhoven last Sunday.

The versatile defender started the game and was replaced by Neco Williams after the break.

Cooper praised the Nigerian for his impressive performance in the game.

”It’s was good to get Ola on the pitch, I thought he was excellent and showed some really good moments, Cooper told Forest TV.

Aina will look to make his official debut for Forest against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium next week.
