Manchester City forward Jack Grealish has said no team in the world can beat Real Madrid as comfortably as the Cityzenes did in their second-leg semi-final clash in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Real Madrid was run down by the Premier League giants who have now progressed to the final of the competition where Inter Milan has been waiting for them after beating AC Milan on Tuesday.
Manchester City dominated the game with Real Madrid recording only 40 percent ball possession.
Pep Guardiola’s side was deservedly 2-0 up in the first with both goals coming from Bernardo Silva while Manuel Akanji and Julian Alvarez scored two late goals to complete the victory for Guardiola’s side.
Real Madrid came out stronger in the second half and although they still barely troubled the Premier League side.
“I am just buzzing to be in this moment. It’s so nice. I don’t think a lot of teams would be able to do that against Real Madrid,” Grealish told reporters after the game.
“We felt unstoppable. We have won every game here in the competition – it’s unbelievable.
“We feel unstoppable this season and nobody can beat us: when you see what we did tonight, and against Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, it’s unbelievable.”
