NNPP will takeover governance in Imo – Ex-Presidential candidate, Kwankwaso

The former Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in the 2023 general election, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has affirmed the readiness of his party to take over the governance of Imo State, come November 11th governorship election.

Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State noted that the National leadership of the Party will show much commitment to ensure that the party captures Imo, as one of its stronghold states in the southeast geopolitical zone.

He disclosed this in a statement signed by the media officer of the governorship candidate of NNPP in Imo State, Mr Joshua Elekwachi shortly after a courtesy visit by the Party’s gubernatorial candidate, Uche Ben Odunzeh, his running mate, Godstime Chukwubikem Samuel, which took place in Abuja.

Kwankwaso, however, charged the Odunzeh to continue to be resolute and focused and to ensure that he does not jeopardize the trust of his people, especially if he emerges the winner but assured him of the total cooperation of the national leadership of the Party.

The National leader, Kwankwaso, also admonished the party members in Imo and the candidate, Odunzeh to work effectively with the party leadership to ensure that Imo is captured for NNPP.

Earlier in a remark, the gubernatorial candidate, Odunzeh pledged to show great commitment in ensuring that all stakeholders and party leaders are united, especially as the election approaches.

He urged the National leadership of the party to ensure that all hands are on deck to deliver the state to the party.
