NNL confirms Stephen Keshi Stadium for Super Eight playoffs

The Nigeria National League has confirmed the Stephen Keshi Stadium as the venue for the Super Eight championship playoffs.

Earlier reported exclusively that the Delta State Sports Council is already making preparations to stage the NNL super Eight playoffs.

The Nigeria National League head of Operations, Emmanuel Adesanya, expressed gratitude to the state for accepting to host the competition.

The Super 8 is expected to start in the last week of June and end first of July, 2023.

“We are happy to announce that Delta State government has given their consent to host the Super 8 at the Stephen keshi Stadium ,Asaba,” he stated to confirm the NNL Super Eight playoff venue.

“We must first congratulate His Excellency Sheriff Oborevwori for his election as the new governor of the state and for graciously granting the hosting of the NNL Play-Offs.”

EFCC FC,Katsina United, Kano Pillars,DMD FC,FC ONE Rock, Abeokuta Stormers SC,Heartland and Sporting FC will compete in the Super Eight playoffs.

Four top teams in the playoff will qualify to participate in the Nigeria Premier League next season.
