Nigerian football club players escape tragic road crash on Ogbomosho-Ilorin expressway

Players and officials of ABS FC, Ilorin were involved in a road accident this morning while returning from their Nigeria National League (NNL) matches in Lagos.

The incident occurred along the Ogbomosho-Ilorin expressway, but no lives were lost, according to reports.

Details surrounding the cause of the accident remain unclear, but sources confirm that all team members survived.

The team is owned by former Senate President and two-term governor of Kwara state, Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
