Nigerian defender joins French club, Sochaux 

French Ligue 2 club, FC Sochaux have announced the signing of Nigerian defender, Valentine Ozornwafor on a one-year loan deal.

Sochaux has the option to sign him on a permanent deal next summer.

Ozornwafor spent last season on loan at Belgian Pro League outfit, Sporting Charleroi from Galatasaray.

Sporting Charleroi made the transfer permanent at the end of the 2021/22 season.

The 23-year-old made 17 league appearances for Sporting Charleroi last season.

Former Nigeria stars Brown Ideye, Wilson Oruma and Rabiu Afolabi have previously featured for Sochaux.
