Four Nigerian clubs, Rivers United, Plateau United, Remo Stars and Kwara United will begin their quest to rule Africa this weekend.
In the CAF Champions League, Plateau United will be the guests of Gabonese club, Stade Mandji at the Stade Franceville on Saturday (today).
The game will kick-off at 3.30pm Nigeria time.
On Sunday, Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rivers United will entertain Liberia’s Watanga FC in the same competition.
The encounter billed for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt will kick-off at 4pm.
No Nigerian club has won the CAF Champions League since Enyimba secured back-to-back titles in 20O3 and 2004.
In the CAF Confederation Cup, Kwara United will entertain Association Sportive Des Douanes of Niger Republic at their makeshift home ground, Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
The game will commence at 4pm.
Later on Sunday, debutants Remo Stars will do battle with Morocco side, FAR Rabat.
The fixure, which will take place at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdullahi, will kick off at 8pm Nigeria time.
