President Bola Tinubu has said that Nigeria will win the war against terrorism and banditry in the country.
Tinubu gave this assurance on Friday during an interfaith breaking of fast with Service Chiefs following the banditry attack on Borno community.
Recall that Boko Haram attacked a military base and an Internally Displaced Persons, IDP, camp in Ngoshe, located in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State where over 100 residents were reportedly abducted.
Reacting, Tinubu said, “My sympathy goes to Vice President Shettima, the entire country and the people of Borno State over the incident that occurred in Borno State. I’ve made a call to Governor Zulum to share the pain with him.
“And if you talk to him too, please remember to reinforce our love and sincere concern and commitment that freedom could be difficult and challenging at this period.
“We appreciate all the people are facing; the challenges of terrorism and banditry but I can assure you that we will win the war. Nigeria will prevail.”
