Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, has provided an ambiguous response when asked about his relationship with his club teammate Kylian Mbappe while away on international duty with Brazil.
PSG have made an impressive start to their 2022-2023 campaign, with manager Christophe Galtier now at the helm.
The Parisians have played eleven matches across all competitions this term and are yet to taste defeat.
However, not everything is going smoothly at the Parc des Princes, with Neymar and Mbappe seemingly not on good terms.
A lot has been said about both players’ relationship this season.
Issues between Neymar and Mbappe rose to the fore after they fell out during PSG’s 5-2 win against Montpellier last month.
The Brazilian international was upset that the France international took a penalty ahead of him and went on to like controversial tweets about him.
The 30-year-old was also evidently angry at the 23-year-old after he refused to pass the ball to him during PSG’s European win against Juventus in the Champions League.
There have been suggestions this month that Neymar is still upset with the former AS Monaco star.
However, when Neymar was quizzed about his relationship with Mbappe, he refused to provide an answer, hinting at a rift between the duo.
Neymar said (via The Daily Star) after Brazil’s international friendly 3-0 win over Ghana on Friday: “With Kylian?” Before saying: “Phew. I don’t…”
The former Barcelona star then went on to walk away from the press area, sparking further talk of issues between both players.
