New Islamic Year: Ayu Urged Muslim Ummah To Pray For The Nation’s Unity.

The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr Iyorchia Ayu has called on the Muslim Ummah in the country to use the significant celebration of the new Islamic year to interceed for the country.

In a statement by his senior special assistant on media and Communication Yusuf Abubakar Dingyadi, Ayu tasked them to intensify prayers for unity, development and cohesion of the nation.

He noted that the country needed prayer now than ever before stressing that by do so it will help produce good leaders in 2023 that can bring a lasting peace and rapid development that will usher a greater nation.

“‘We should not lose hope or allow anybody to use his failure to destroy this great and blessed nation. We are a people united by a common destiny of greatness which we must bequeath to our upcoming generation. Nothing should change our determination and commitment to restore the lost glory of this great nation he stated.

“Therefore, on behalf of the entire PDP family, I rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters of this country on their celebration of the New Islamic Year 1444 (Hijrah) he added.

Ayu enjoined Muslims in the country to rekindle their faith which emphasises love of one another, forgiveness and greater dedication to peace and development.

He implored then to support the PDP which is the only party that can rescue and unify Nigeria.

He appreciates the role of all party members across the country for their support and determination of making Nigeria greater again.
