Nasarawa United will make instant return to NPFL – Arikya

Nasarawa United Interim coach, Abubakar Arikya, has reiterated his commitment to bring back the team to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Arikya took charge of the Solid Miners earlier in the campaign following the resignation of Bala Nikyu.

The Lafia club were relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) following a 1-0 loss to Kwara United at the Ondo Sports Complex, Akure last weekend.

Arikya is however optimistic that the team has the needed quality to make an immediate return back to the NPFL.

“The team isn’t that bad they have the needed quality to return back to the topflight immediately,” he stated.

“If am giving the opportunity I will definitely work tirelessly to get things done immediately with no hesitation,” he said.

Nasarawa United will host Bendel Insurance in their final game of the season at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
