Midfielder Orji rejoins Sporting Lagos on loan

Sporting Lagos have completed the signing of Chisom Orji from non-league side Collins Edwards on a season-long loan deal.

The arrival of the midfielder was announced on social media by the Nigeria Premier Football League side.

Orji, who played a key role in Sporting Lagos’ promotion to the NPFL last season, told the club media: “It’s good to be back. This is a special club that will always have a special place in my heart, and I can’t wait to get back in front of the fans.”

Orji will retain the No. 12 jersey, which he wore last season.

Sporting Lagos will kick-start their NPFL campaign against Gombe United.
