Mbappe to determine if Osimhen joins PSG

Victor Osimhen’s long-term future with Napoli could be determined by Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe this summer, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.

Mbappe has been given an ultimatum to sign a new deal or be sold, with his current contract expiring in one year.

It is widely believed that if he eventually leaves PSG, Mbappe will likely sign for Real Madrid.

In that case, PSG would have to bring in a replacement, with Osimhen their top choice.

PSG are among the few clubs in Europe that can afford the fee Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, would consider enough for the Super Eagles striker.

Osimhen also currently earns around €4.5m per season with the Serie A champions, a mere fraction of Mbappe’s wages in France.
