Mazi Afam Osigwe Sworn In As NBA President

Mazi Afam Osigwe has been sworn in as the newly elected President of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).

In his inaugural address, he pledged to hold governments at all levels accountable for their actions, particularly in areas concerning justice, equity, and the rule of law.

Osigwe, the 32nd President of the NBA said the legal profession plays a critical role in society.

He called for immediate action on improving security, safeguarding fundamental human rights, and providing essential services such as education, healthcare, and employment opportunities for all Nigerians.

“We will do our utmost best to ensure that we fulfil our promises to engender an NBA that places lawyers at the centre of its programmes,” Osigwe said.
