May Liverpool score five goals against you – Enrique slams Benzema over latest comments

Former Liverpool defender, Jose Enrique has hit out at Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, for suggesting the Reds are overconfident ahead of both teams’ UEFA Champions League final on Saturday.

Liverpool and Real Madrid will face each other in the Champions League final this weekend in Paris.

A lot has already been said ahead of the Champions League showdown.

Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti have had an indirect exchange thus far.

But Benzema has now risked facing the wrath of Liverpool fans with his comments ahead of the final.

The France international feels that Jurgen Klopp’s side already thinks they have won the game.
He told Movistar+: “They [Liverpool] think they have already won the match.”

His comment was not well received by Enrique, who took offence.

Enrique claimed that no one from the Liverpool camp has made such claims and is now hoping that the Premier League giants score five goals against Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

He wrote on Twitter: “I really don’t know what he [Benzema] is talking about. Nobody has said anything similar to what he is saying here. I hope we give you 5 for talking so much.”
