Man Utd take decision on Ronaldo-Griezmann swap deal with Atletico

Manchester United are not interested in a swap deal that will see them exchange Cristiano Ronaldo for Atletio Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann, according to The Athletic.

Ronaldo remains keen to quit Old Trafford for a club that will play Champions League football.

With Chelsea and Bayern Munich ruling themselves out of a possible move, the 37-year-old is left with Atletico as his only real option.

However, the LaLiga club cannot afford Ronaldo, except they free up some wages.

But a possible swap deal could see Atletico allow Griezmann leave, before they can work out a salary with Ronaldo.

United, however, have no desire to bring Griezmann to Old Trafford. As such, any possibility of a swap deal between the clubs has now been ruled out
